Some feel they can’t share a stage with players who did steroids. The cheating that tainted an era now risks tainting the Hall of Fame too. The Hall of Fame means too much to us to ever see that happen. If steroid users get in, it will divide and diminish the Hall, something we couldn’t bear.”

With 215 passing yards against the Cowboys, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan became the fastest quarterback with 40,000 career passing yards — reaching the mark in 151 games. Ryan (40,073) is the 19th player in NFL history with at least 40,000 passing yards and sits just behind Johnny Unitas (40,239) for 18th on the NFL’s all-time passing list.
Johnny Holton, WR, Oakland Raiders: The Raiders announced during the second quarter that Holton was being evaluated for a concussion. Holton passed the tests and returned to action in the second half.
